Today marks the 10th day of the 100 Day Photo Walks. Photo Walk Day 1 thru Day 10 was almost smooth sailing. While I originally planned to walk every single day, life had a few detours in mind. But I’m still going strong, and that’s what counts. Maybe the next 10days will be consistent. Big surprise, my favorite place to walk is the beach! It never fails my walks along the shoreline are super slow and I end in the ocean up to my knees. Walks I figured would be short but once I got going they tend to stretch out a few blocks longer.

Exploring the jetties during low tide is always exciting!
I tip-toe around the rocks to not disturb the wonderful species. It’s like a tiny world full of magic. Anemones, mussels, and barnacles always make an appearance. The real thrill is spotting a starfish tucked between the rocks. Little moments like that keep me coming back. I have a feeling that a large majority of my up coming walks will be at the beach.

Photo Walks Day 1 thru Day 10
I have been documenting Photo Walks Day 1 thru Day 10 with either my camera or phone. I have heavily photographed the beach with my “real” camera and the neighborhood with my phone. Even though there is so much to photograph in my neighborhood but the beach is more exciting. Many of the beach photos are submitted to Cavan Images: Stock Photography.
