Okay — time for a new project! Lately, I’ve found myself skipping my daily walks and barely picking up my camera. So I decided to shift that energy and start a new creative habit that gets me moving and making again. Today marks the beginning of my 100 Day Project: #mso100PhotoWalks.
What’s the Project?
For the next 100 days, I’ll be taking at least one photo each day during my walk — capturing whatever sparks my attention in the moment. It could be:
-
Textures on sidewalks and plants
-
Light dancing through leaves
-
Beach treasures or washed-up patterns
-
Seasonal shifts and fleeting details
-
Or simply the everyday beauty we usually walk past
Why I’m Doing This
This project is about rebuilding two important habits: walking daily and taking photos with intention. Life gets busy, and it’s easy to fall out of routines that keep us grounded and inspired. This challenge is my way of pressing “reset” and inviting more presence into my days.
I’m hoping this daily creative check-in will:
-
Reignite my connection with photography
-
Help me appreciate the details of my environment
-
Build consistency (without pressure)
-
And maybe inspire you to slow down and look around, too
Want to Follow Along?
I’ll be posting photos and updates on Instagram using #mso100PhotoWalks — and I’d love for you to follow along or even join in! Whether you’re a photographer, nature lover, or just need a daily habit reset, this project is about showing up and seeing what unfolds.
Here’s to day one — and the next 99 walks ahead. Let’s go!!
